About us:

The Kings Head is Guildford’s oldest—and most haunted—pub. Built in the late 1500s using traditional timber framing, it stands in the heart of the historic Saxon market town, right beside Guildford Castle in the town’s conservation area.

Today, the Kings Head remains a vibrant town-centre favourite, serving delicious home-cooked food and a wide selection of drinks, including four real ales and great wines. Guests can also enjoy our spacious two-level outdoor seating area and our warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Please note: we currently are only accept FOOD bookings mid-week (Mon-Thurs), as well as buffets (Mon-Fri) and Sunday lunch. For buffet options, please see our menus page for more details.
